Exciting News Alert! Sahayatri Consults has been awarded the prestigious opportunity to develop the Health Policy for Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality of Rukum East, Lumbini Province supported by Nepal Public Awakening Forum ( NPAF) with the funding of United Mission to Nepal. In the evolving landscape of our nation's federal structure, the importance of robust health policies cannot be overstated. With the transition to a federal system, each province and municipality now holds greater autonomy and responsibility in addressing the unique health needs of its population within its catchment areas. Here's why developing effective health policies is paramount: Tailored Solutions: Crafting policies to tackle the unique health challenges of each community. Resource Allocation: Maximizing the impact of limited resources where they're needed most. Community Engagement: Putting the power in the hands of local communities to shape their healthcare priorities. Improved Access and Equity: Ensuring equitable access to healthcare services for all. Adaptability and Innovation: Driving continuous improvement and responsiveness to changing needs. Accountability and Transparency: Holding local governments accountable to their constituents. Coordination and Collaboration: Aligning local efforts with national objectives for greater impact. This isn't just about paperwork—it's a transformative step towards better health outcomes for our communities. This isn't just about policies—it's about people. It's about empowering communities, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful change from the ground up. Together, let's champion local health policies as vehicles for positive change, driving better health outcomes for all! #HealthPolicy #CommunityHealth #Decentralization #BetterHealthForAll

Did you know that beyond infrastructure and economic development, Governor Oyebanji has, in less than two years in the saddle, prioritized the health of Ekiti residents? He approved a free surgical mission for residents and provided free health services to over 429,000 people across the state. In addition, the Governor approved the recruitment of medical officers for general and specialist hospitals to ensure improved and efficient healthcare delivery. Governor Oyebanji believes that the true value of infrastructure and economic progress is realized when citizens are healthy enough to benefit from it because only healthy citizens can fully enjoy good infrastructure and economic opportunities. #AnticipatingBAO@2 #BAO4ALL #CommunityDevelopment #EkitiStateGovernment #TalkanddoBAO #BAO@2 #TransformativeGovernance #BeautyofContinuity

🏥 Three weeks after a devastating 7.3 #earthquake struck #Vanuatu, leaving Port Vila with significant damage and an unfortunate loss of life, the DT Global implemented Vanuatu Australia Health Partnership (VAHP) continues to stand by the Vanuatu Ministry of Health in its recovery efforts. Through swift action, VAHP has provided critical support by: 📲 Repurchasing public health SMS alerts to be disseminated broadly across the Port Vila population ❄️ Hiring a refrigerated container as surge capacity support to the Vila Central Hospital morgue 👷🏽♂️ Procuring engineering services to do rapid assessments of Ministry of Health buildings 🪠 Hiring plumbing services needed to urgently move the renal dialysis unit at the Vila Central Hospital 👥 Embedding team members within the Ministry of Health to strengthen local response capacity, including: 🔹 Supporting the Finance Unit to process urgent response payments during a busy financial period and holiday season 🔹Assisting the Health Promotion Unit in delivering essential health messages to affected communities 🔹 Developing and supporting the implementation of a communications plan for Shefa Provincial Health, the most affected province. Since its establishment in September 2019, VAHP has been a reliable partner in addressing health crises, including: 💉 The global COVID-19 pandemic 💨 Category 4 Tropical Cyclone Harold (April 2020) 💨 Twin Category 4 cyclones, Judy and Kevin (March 2023) 💨 Category 4 Tropical Cyclone Lola (October 2023) 💪This partnership’s success lies in its strong relationships with senior and technical Ministry of Health officials, provincial governments, and health partners. By embedding staff at various levels and strengthening the health system, VAHP ensures a timely and effective response when Vanuatu faces its most challenging moments. #IWork4DTGlobal #WeAreDTGlobal #VanuatuAustraliaPartnership #HealthPartnerships #DisasterRecovery #VanuatuEarthquake #EarthtquakeResponse #Recovery
