This example could be used as a diegetic UI in VR. I would love to see more 'physical' UI that still has the rules based with 2D systems but executed with more flare and vision.

The fantastic thing about having an early, working prototype is that you can test whether this thing is even fun. In my experience and observations, game development project management processes are so difficult to streamline because of this element. It is imperative that you prioritise and spend a lot of time in the concept / prototyping phase with any new or novel idea that you aren't simply copy pasting with a new lick of paint. Over the nearly 3 year development of Terratorial, we have had 500+ players experience the game at various festivals up and down the country. We have had so much feedback from RTS players and non-RTS players. What they want (and what we want) is an emotional, narrative driven story campaign for single player, accessibility on more platforms and just a really fun, zany mix of balanced and unbalanced modes.
