Hip Hop can often get negative press. Here's the revised LinkedIn post with added statistics and hashtags: I'll be the first to admit that there are some negative aspects to hip hop culture. I distance myself from those elements. But as with most things, you see what you are looking for. I've never heard it positioned this way, but I will say that having a "hip hop mindset" has fueled many of my dreams and opened a lot of doors for me. The creativity, drive, determination, and divergent thinking of people with a hip hop mindset is needed, especially as more and more Gen Zers sit on the sideline with false expectations. According to a study, 60% of Gen Zers feel that traditional career paths do not align with their values and aspirations. Additionally, hip hop culture influences a global audience, with the genre generating over $10 billion annually in the US alone. This is a great post Manny Faces.
