Great to see media interest in our recent collaboration with STAX Engineering! This article from Ship Technology & Ship Technology Global shares the latest insights into our partnership. The initiative is funded by South Coast AQMD and California Air Resources Board through California Climate Investments to demonstrate how technologies can be combined to achieve significant emissions reductions during barge operations in ports. STAX Engineering produce cutting-edge emissions capture and control (C&C) technology, which, when combined with our advanced methanol-to-hydrogen power systems (M2PWR), has the potential to provide cleaner power for barge operations while in port removing 99% of particulate matter (PM) and 95% of nitrogen oxides (NOx) before releasing purified gas. The move also piqued the interest of delegates at last week’s International WorkBoat Show. We were pleased to speak to many industry colleagues who showed a keen interest, demonstrating the demand there is for proven new innovations that are available now. Watch this space for more updates as the project begins in 2025.
