Employee retention is simple but not easy. It takes time. this is a start. ✅ Offer Competitive Pay- it's an investment, not an expense ✅ Give Pay Increases regardless of budget constraints (it's cheaper than hiring someone new) ✅ Offer Better Benefits (Health, Dental and 401k with match are the basics; get creative) ✅ Be flexible (people have options now) ✅ Consider changing the company culture to be more Inclusive for ALL people, not just certain groups. ✅ Opportunities for advancement/ learning and development (promote them or another company will) ✅ Hire better Leaders (a bad one will run off the good ones quicker than anything else) ✅ Ask employees what they need and work to provide or communicate why their needs cannot be met.
