When news reached the team at Alliance Leisure that ISG had gone into administration, the construction giant was the principal contractor on several of our large-scale leisure projects, representing investment of nearly £250m. In this unflinching reflection on the four months that have elapsed since that challenging day, Managing Director of Alliance Leisure, Paul Cluett, goes behind the scenes on the initial fallout, how Alliance Leisure reacted to the consequences of ISG's collapse, and some of the lessons learned from the experience. https://buff.ly/4axeSyY
Congratulations Paul / Sarah and team on coming through what must have been a really destabilising time for you and the clients. Nice article
Congratulations to the Alliance Leisure team. You managed to turn an awful situation around and stay true to your values 👏
Congratulations to all involved
A very interesting article about the challenges and how these were met. Great to hear how the valuable outcomes for the communities have been protected
Incredibly proud of the Alliance Leisure team and our partners for showing resilience and dedication during such challenging times - and as always, placing our clients at the heart of every decision. It's heartening to see former ISG colleagues not only finding their footing but thriving out of adversity. Together, we’ve turned challenges into opportunities. "Adversity is the true test of character"
Aa part of the ISG team that worked at King George's Playing Field in Brentwood it was great to actually have a client that wasn't trying to beat the PC up everyday. It was a great team effort that got us there. Pity the Brentwood International Centre didn't get the go ahead.
When we heated that our loved company had closed for bussiness and we were no longer employed, is shook us to the core. I for one was concerned for our contractors who, inevitably would be significantly effected by ISGs collapse. It is great to read a good news story come from the ashes of this situation. Well done Alliance Leasure
Congratulations to the Alliance team on how you dealt with the situation, it can only enhance the relationships you have with current and future clients.
Well done Paul. The construction industry is a hard one to be in and the fallout for many including Alliance is tough. I am pleased for you and also for those who t may have been relieved by your actions. Mike
