You can work remotely from any location in the U.S. You will investigate and maintain property/casualty claims. Determine liability, secure information, reviews coverages, arrange appraisals, and settle claims. You work remotely from her home location. You will support the Claim Division goal of ensuring customer service industry leadership and partners with agency to deliver seamless claim service. You will work on moderately complex claims remotely and report to a Claims Manager.Compensation Minimum:$52,300 / yearCompensation Maximum:$83,800 / year Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Job Level SummaryRequires working experience in own job discipline and broaden capabilities.Continue to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers.Perform a range of assignments related to job discipline.Use prescribed guidelines in analyzing situations.Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction.Primary AccountabilitiesInvestigate origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, other adjusters, public personnel.Identify complex issues and look for assistance. Handle claims on a good faith basis.Handle both 1st party and 3rd party claims under multiple policies types and numerous endorsements.Conduct on-site inspections when needed, evaluates damages, and handles claim negotiations with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and public adjusters.Respond to customer inquiries, makes appropriate decisions and close file.Interpret and determine policies, leases, by-laws, declarations, articles and contract coverages and applies to all parties for assigned losses.Provide all parties with claim process and status; answers questions or redirect to other areas. I don't normally work on Product roles but I'm partnering with a great connection of mine in #dallas on this one. This position will work with Heads of MGUs on wording and language in policies. 𝑫𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘? Compensation: $160K - $185K Location: Strong preference for a candidate in Dallas, TX but will consider a fully remote candidate elsewhere in the U.S. if very well qualified. What you'll do: ✅ Provide regulatory and coverage advisory guidance to business units. ✅ Main products presently include: Commercial Auto, Construction GL, DOL and Garage, and Habitational Property ✅ Create a product overview for each product to serve as the guidance document.  ✅ Identify data that should be gathered into a database for measuring product performance. ✅ Assure that rating systems properly follow admitted rating rules. ✅ Create/modify forms to respond to loss trends, legal trends, comply with regulatory requirements, respond to customer’s coverage needs, and at the request of the business units. ✅ Develop new coverages based on requirements from business unit leaders. ✅ Assure all forms are reviewed by legal and provide all feedback to the business units. ✅ Communicate coverage issues to claims and the business units. ✅ Evaluate competitor policy forms and communicate important differences to the business units. ✅ Coordinate, direct, and monitor filing vendor’s filing process with various state departments of insurance using System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing. ✅ Develop and maintain recordkeeping of all forms, editions, state approval status, legal guidance, and usage by Business Unit. ✅ Assure that all forms are approved by Amherst before being provided to the business units. #jobopportunity #product #insuranceproduct #dallas #remoteopportunity
