It's #WorldEnvironmentDay 🌏 How are companies working to create sustainable #businesstravel? We surveyed more than 1,000 British businesses and their employees to learn about attitudes toward sustainability in business travel. ♻️ Here are the results: Many organizations have #sustainability plans in place, but there's some room for improvement. ⬇️

Business travel evolves sustainably. Here's why and how 👇 ➡️ An undeniable impact. Essential for business growth, it nevertheless contributes to carbon emissions, air pollution, and resource consumption. ➡️ A strategic imperative. By integrating sustainability into travel practices, businesses can reduce costs, improve their reputation, attract environmentally conscious customers, and boost employee morale. ➡️ A long-term investment. Forward-thinking companies recognize that responsible travel aligns with long-term profitability and resilience in a changing world. ➡️ Increased accountability. New practices are being implemented to achieve objectives: carbon neutrality, reduction of single-use plastics, preference for eco-friendly accommodations, alternative transportation, virtual meetings, and remote work are becoming the norm. ➡️ A more sustainable planet. By aligning travel practices with these sustainability goals and initiatives, businesses play their part. They also benefit in terms of cost savings and reputation enhancement. Business travel is evolving. This is good news for everyone.
