Thanks Laura Anthony, Esq. for the communication around #OTCID. In my opinion, the lack of financing is not an OTC Markets Group issue. Rather, it's a #microcap issue that goes back to 2021 when over a hundred companies went public on Nasdaq and NYSE too prematurely. The valuations were extremely high and the fundamentals were not there to support them. There were numerous rules passed at the Exchanges this year to address #IPO allocations, reverse splits and underwriter requirements. For companies asking about financing alternatives, I encourage them to revisit #RegD and #RegA, which are can be less dilutive and costly. There are many companies, such as Osprey Funds BNB Chain Trust(OTCQX:#OBNB), which joined OTCQX today, that use RegD to raise capital and effect a #listing on our #OTCQX or #OTCQB markets a year later once the shares become freely tradeable. It's a great way to build long term investors versus transactional investors. Feel free to reach out if you'd like more examples.
OTC Markets have struggled in recent years, primarily as a result of an inability for OTC Markets traded companies to obtain institutional financing or underwriter/placement agent banker support.
