HAECO is reaffirming our commitment to reduce carbon emissions by signing the Business Environment Council’s Net-zero Carbon Charter in Hong Kong! By joining the charter, we agree to create a network for information exchange alongside seventy other signatories, so we can pull together our collective resources and accelerate the transition towards a net-zero future. As part of our sustainable development roadmap, HAECO has set an ambitious target to reduce our carbon emissions by 40% by 2030. This aligns with our broader vision to incorporate eco-friendly practices across all aspects of our daily operations and corporate culture. Thanks to the incredible support of 11th Hour Racing, MarineShift360 is evolving with a broader mission and multiple workstreams, all designed to accelerate the marine industry’s transition to Net Zero. Here’s what’s new: Enhanced Lifecycle Assessment Tool: A new commercial model now makes the tool significantly more affordable, giving the entire industry access to crucial tools for measuring and reducing product-related impacts. Impact Accelerator Programme: A first-of-its-kind initiative to discover and supercharge innovative solutions that will drive decarbonisation across the marine sector.
