Is it too soon to start thinking about Christmas and the end of 2024? We are putting up our Christmas tree in the office this week and finalising the food order for our Company Christmas dinner, so at Oxford Biosystems we are certainly getting in the Christmas spirit! But, before we start our celebrations, we should also take time to reflect on the past year. Like many companies, especially the smaller companies and not only those in our industry, we have found 2024 has been another challenging year. We work in a market that has seen many changes since the start of the pandemic. We also see the challenges brought by legislation in our industry – the changes required to products to meet IVDR requirements, the need for MHRA registration and the start of the UKCA requirements. As a distributor, we greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our Suppliers across the world. The business relationships we have built with all of them are stronger than ever and we are looking forward to another great year in 2025. Our wonderful team at Oxford Biosystems has met all our challenges this year with enthusiasm and amazing team spirit. We continue to grow and will be using time in December to plan ahead for 2025 and beyond – in between the festivities of course! If you would like more information about any of our products please visit our website or contact us directly to discuss your requirements. www.oxfordbiosystems.com #Diagnostics #IVDR #IBLInternational #Alifax #ViennaLab #Biovendor #Diasource #Biomedica #SSIDiagnostica #Quansys #SDBiosensor #Hygiena #Aidian #Testline #Mediagnost #Kamiya #Euroclone #OBS #OxfordBioSystems

I have had a great day at the Health Innovation West of England annual conference. It was lovely to catch-up with colleagues from across the system both old and new. A few of my key takeaways and reflections... 💡 1. Now more than ever the NHS needs innovation, but innovative solutions will only work and thrive if they solve an articulated and evidenced problem. 2. The path for innovators in the NHS is often long, cyclical and unnecessarily complex. Work needs to be done to create a consistent and clear path across NHS organisations that enables the adoption of innovation rather than stifling it. 3. There is consensus that we need to get better at articulating the value of innovation, so that we can measure impact and create meaningful sustainable change.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined our conference today. We had a fantastic day and hope you did too. Please share your highlights with us, we’d love to know your thoughts. #HealthInnovationWest

Thought-provoking and humorous campaigns that pushed vaccine awareness and uptake, and those that sought to convey an inside look at how patients feel as they face various conditions – from physically painful ones such as generalized pustular psoriasis, to the emotional and mental strain of alopecia areta, to an inside look at how your dog with osteoarthritis really feels – were the leaders that made the cut on the 2024 Outcomes Creativity Index (OCI). #healthcaremarketing #healthcareadvertising #pharmamarketing #pharmaceuticalmarketing #MedAdNews
Creative awards are top of mind for many, but what does it all really mean? See the brands that made the most noise across the various industry events in the 2024 Med Ad News OCI... and good luck to all those competing as our 2025 OCI events commence!
