Responsibilities: -Oversee all aspects of the tax department, including tax compliance, planning, and consulting services. -Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development. -Develop and maintain relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters. -Stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and reporting requirements. -Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated solutions to client needs. -Drive process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the tax department. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax, with a focus on compliance and advisory services. - Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and build client relationships. -Proven track record of delivering high-quality client service and meeting deadlines.
