PCA has published an update to our state-of-the-art report on portland-limestone cement (PLC), which was first released in 2011, just prior to the introduction of Type IL #cement in ASTM C595 and AASHTO M 240. This report incorporates the findings from several major studies funded by state DOTs over the past decade, laboratory and long-term outdoor exposure studies to better understand sulfate resistance, additional case studies and updates on case studies featured in the original report, and updates to specifications in the US, Canada, and Europe.
