One thing you can count on after a disaster in the Houston area - people will pitch in to help others recover as we prove once again that we are Houston Strong! That was crystal clear during KHOU 11's Beryl Relief Telethon, where a number of my colleagues from Baker Hughes volunteered to take donations. With so many people impacted by Hurricane Beryl and the massive power outages, I'm proud to see Baker Hughes partnering with KHOU 11 and the American Red Cross to raise money for storm victims. The telethon raised $511,258 in just three hours, thanks to the generous contributions of the community at large and organizations, such as the Baker Hughes Foundation. The funds raised will provide essential support to the storm victims, reinforcing the city's resolve as we collectively Stand for Houston.
