This is inspiring for #entrepreneurs who often find themselves in unchartered waters with limited resources for recourse and dim light ahead of them. It is wise to always budget for miscellaneous events like failure to enable #businesscontinuity and recovery from failure. An often ignored recovery tool is a #website which keeps you present with your customers and other stakeholders (and may even generate sales) while you get back on your feet. A #website gives a business a full virtual office where business deals can be initiated and concluded online. One of the best lessons I learned about making change happen: Be willing to fail. Remember, when you’re aiming big, failure is part of the territory. It can often be a bitter pill to swallow, but keeping your head up, and moving forward with the next task is crucial. Throughout my journey, I was fortunate enough to fail fast in certain instances; doing so enabled us to pivot our focus and resources to other critical issues where we could make a difference.

https://lnkd.in/g_nBmWJz In the context of lean leadership, taking the correct path rather than the easy one is frequently the best course of action. It's similar to picking a hiking trail; while the well-traveled path could appear more convenient, the difficult, less-traveled path may lead to amazing views. We are frequently tempted to seek a quick cure or a shortcut around complexity by the allure of simplicity. Lean leadership, however, prioritizes the process over the final goal. It's about exploring the nuances, taking on obstacles head-on, and, when necessary, choosing the less-traveled path. Think about how a GPS might recalculate a route in response to unforeseen road closures. While it might be simple to just go down the recalculated path without thinking, a Lean leader evaluates the circumstances, considers all options, and selects the course that will lead to long-term success. The correct course of action occasionally entails challenging the existing quo, raising doubts about accepted norms, and facing inefficiencies. It's about posing challenging queries, even when the responses reveal unsettling realities. Resilience in the face of difficulty is a requirement of dedication to continual improvement. Making the correct decision frequently entails accepting change, which can be a scary idea for some. Lean leadership does, however, acknowledge that learning occurs outside of our comfort zones. It entails adjusting to changing conditions, drawing lessons from mistakes, and fostering an environment where obstacles are seen as chances for growth. Lean leadership is a marathon journey where success is determined by perseverance, strategic thinking, and a dedication to quality. It's the understanding that while taking the easy route may provide temporary comfort, choosing the correct course leads to long-term, sustainable success. As we traverse the terrain of Lean leadership, let us keep in mind that doing things the correct way sometimes requires more work, bravery, and persistence. It's an investment in a time when ongoing development is a way of life rather than merely a desired outcome. Thus, accept the difficulties, make the difficult decisions, and allow the Lean leadership journey to completely transform the way you pursue greatness. What are your thoughts? 💥 “It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.” Darwin 💡 If we don't embrace change we ultimately lose out. Complacency is dangerous - if we don't challenge the status quo, if we do not focus to innovate, we may get left behind. In this fast-paced, winner-take-all market, this can translate into a fatal error in judgement. ✅ Fresh ideas, new and untried methods, new ways to promote - these are all tools available in everyone's toolbox. These are the dynamics of change, and likely because of their unknown qualities and outcomes, many initiatives will fail. But if we look to change, failure is a prerequisite to learning. And learning, as we all know, is a requirement of winning! 💙 Stay positive. #whatinspiresme #motivation #creativity #mentalhealth #leadership #change #management #bestadvice #socialmedia ©David Albert 2024

Driving Digital Innovation & Enhancing Customer Experience | I help companies build & scale cutting-edge digital products
Assumptions can be a tricky ally, offering insights yet holding hidden dangers. The idea that "assumptions are your worst enemy" struck a chord with me. It emphasizes that while guesswork and informed decisions are valuable, relying on assumptions as facts can lead to unfortunate outcomes. Making assumptions is a natural part of navigating complexities we might face. However, the real risk lies in treating assumptions like certainties and making high-stakes decisions based on them. So what I'd say would be – "It's okay to have enemies, though we shall not ever believe they could be our friends"😋 They are hypotheses to be tested and refined, guiding us to better-informed choices. By recognizing the inherent uncertainty in assumptions, we avoid the trap of overestimating their reliability. #Assumptions #DecisionMaking #CriticalThinking #Leadership #Mindset #Wisdom #Reflections #ProblemSolvingSkills #ProjectManagement

True progress isn’t a sprint – it’s a marathon. Leaders who are laser-focused on quick wins eventually find that their approach isn’t sustainable long term, and is ineffective in the short term. Real, authentic progress is about building momentum that lasts, both personally and professionally. Usually, it takes evaluating what strategies are working and refining your processes to focus on those while reducing ineffective ones. Sustainable progress requires patience, but the results are always worth it.
