Chemist|| Research and Development || Seeking MSc/PhD opportunities in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic and Natural Product Chemistry|| Helping entry-level and graduate trainees through the manufacturing world.
It's been a while here😊😊 As a chemist there are days when carrying out analysis can be so demanding: having to do raw materials, packaging materials even drug products, especially in a fast-paced time-limited environment where everything is always urgent. I have highlighted a few things that can help us do our job faster:- 1. The company should employ more hands. When there is a right number of personnel for different tasks the job will be done faster and accurately. 2. The company should always purchase from approved suppliers/vendors. This will reduce the rejection of supplies and keep the quality of manufactured products thereby boosting consistency and eradicating delays. 3. Approved suppliers should please be consistent. They should stop changing their manufacturers within a short period. For packaging materials, they should stop reducing the quality of our primary packaging material: our secondary packaging material (inner cartons mostly) should not experience excessive color variation/separation. I know the country is on a roller coaster but quality should and can't be tampered with or compromised. 4. After we have informed the company of what we want and what we are looking for, they should relay the message across to suppliers. It is not only about cutting costs, our consumer's life matters to us. Let me drop my pen here...... Feel free to include other things you think will help QC personnel do their jobs better in the comment section. I look forward to hearing from you. #Quality #Chemist #Standards #Work ethics
