I've read a report, "A Framework to Eliminate SaaS Wastage" which was interesting. I've done research on how many applications are being published on Google Play daily, and the results were quite surprising. How many apps are available on Google Play? According to the reports of "Google Play Statistics and Trends 2024" around 2,407,791 apps are available on Google Play. Among those 296,832 (12.33%) are gaming apps and 2,110,958 (87.67%) are non-gaming apps. How many apps are released on Google Play per day? An average of 1,018 new apps are released on Google Play per day. How many apps are released on Google Play per week? Last week 5219 apps were released on Google Play. How many apps are released on Google Play per month? Last month, 45,763 apps were added to Google Play. What is the distribution of free versus paid on Google Play? There are 2,335,768 (97.05%) free apps on Google Play and 70,885 (2.95%) that must be purchased. However, it should be noted that many free apps require subscriptions or otherwise offer in-app purchases. Share your thoughts in the comments! I wonder if all these applications are being used.
