Thoughts as we go through our performance review process at work- the concept being "the space between". Appreciate the space between what was, is and what can be. Be better now than you were before, but embrace being frustrated (it's ok to be frustrated if it's positive) with the space between what is and what can be. It's not a negative. It's what makes things better. And when you're speaking in a meeting, and you have, let's say, 1 minute...try to say it in 50 seconds. Give 10 seconds as an opportunity for others to start offering their feedback or input. The space in between your thought and the next one is a chance for people who aren't comfortable interrupting or jumping in to participate.
