In a hospital, we strive to balance patient care with respect for everyone’s time. Recently, a patient arrived 20 minutes late to an 11:40 am appointment, and the doctor offered to see her at 14:00. She reluctantly waited but was upset about the delay and voiced her frustration. This situation raises a key question: Where do we draw the line between accommodating patient complaints and dismissing those that are unreasonable? While we must be very mindful of patients’ concerns, it’s also crucial to set boundaries and ensure mutual respect. Our goal is to provide excellent care, but fairness must go both ways. #PatientCare #HealthcareEthics #TimeManagement #HospitalLife

Throughout the patient care journey, we are trained to ask all the right questions about medical history, current symptoms, and even safety factors at home. But, there's one simple question that I rarely hear during my consulting. During a recent family emergency, it became even more apparent why it's so important. Read this week's blog to learn this one simple question, and how it can elevate your patient experience. https://lnkd.in/gke36Maz #PatientExperience #Healthcare #HospitalAdmissions #NurseLeaders #CustomerService #BairdGroup
