The migration of skilled workers from Pakistan has seen a decline in recent years. The peak occurred in 2015, with 950k people seeking employment abroad. While 2023 saw the second-largest migration in absolute numbers, the rate relative to population has dropped from 0.5% in 2015 to 0.36% in 2023. The migration of skilled workforce has been on a decline as total percentage of total migration over the last 3 years. This category peaked between 2019 and 2021, making up about 50% of total migration. #braindrain #pakistan #economy #workforce
