It's pointless... Taking a Delta T across an evaporator coil is pointless if it's restricted. We should be checking our pressure drop across it first with a dual port manometer. It's also worth noting that any system (airflow) restrictions (filter, plugged furnace secondary) should be rectified prior to the Delta T check.
