It's pointless... Taking a Delta T across an evaporator coil is pointless if it's restricted. We should be checking our pressure drop across it first with a dual port manometer. It's also worth noting that any system (airflow) restrictions (filter, plugged furnace secondary) should be rectified prior to the Delta T check. #LT3/LS2/KS1D The LT3 is a cost-effective flue gas analyser and can be combined with either an LS2 oxygen probe or a KS1D combination probe that simultaneously measures oxygen and COe (COe is a combination of all unburnt combustible gases). Both the LS2 and KS1D are zirconia-based in-situ probes that reside directly in the flue gas and offer a combination of accuracy, low maintenance and longevity. Both probes are available in either the standard version or high temperature HT version for flue gas temperatures up to 450°C. The LT3 can be used to implement oxygen trim when used in conjunction with a LAMTEC burner management controller such as BT300 or CMS.
