Alpha technology means nothing if surroundings get in the way - context is always king 💡 Have had many discussions with leaders who’ve had big, transformative analysis conducted to figure out how AI will disrupt them before the competition does it, transforming operating models and value propositions. However, they’ve all failed so far. Why?: because novel technology takes time to embed itself into our creativity and find its space in our processes. "at the core mathematical level, [AI] is such a general purpose technology...One of the challenges in building in AI...has really been, what are the applications that are getting traction and how do you build the right infrastructure to fuel those applications?" So many promising applications built on genAI foundations are destined for failure, but ones that stick around are the inflection point in a paradigm shift for their use case.
