💓 Happy Heart Month! At ALPS, we believe strongly in a multidisciplinary approach to educating patients and their healthcare providers, which we consider central to the work of limb preservation. To support this, we have created two infographics explaining the signs of venous and arterial ulcers, as well as emphasizing the critical role of vascular assessments for patients with these conditions. We encourage you to use and share them widely with your patients! Did you know that we also have a patient resources page? The information provided there offers guidance to patients, caregivers, and family members on protective actions to prevent limb loss associated with limb-threatening conditions such as diabetes and chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI). Whether you're a podiatrist, wound care specialist, or another healthcare provider, this webpage is essential for anyone interested in limb preservation and wound healing. My first presentation on SeniorConnect, a remote patient monitoring kit using a live dashboard view (no App needed!) 🩺🚑 With a price less than a meal, now one can test DAILY at home, and let SJMC monitor for you 😀
It’s truly an honour to care for those, who once cared for us as we served 65 senior members at the Royal Klang Club as part of our mission to help them age gracefully! 🥰🧓👵✨ Themed “Step Up To Wellness”, our Consultant Urologist, Dr Peter Ng Eng Pin and Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Dr Kenny Cheng shared engaging presentations on "Lifestyle Choices and Prostate Health" and "Heart & Lung Diseases” respectively. The seniors also had a health screening session to monitor and manage their health effectively. Many seized the moment to sign up as a member of our Super Seniors Club! We also introduced SeniorConnect, our newly launched remote patient monitoring service for elderly patients aged 65 and above. A live demo gave members a firsthand look at the remarkable capabilities of this innovative service. A huge shoutout to everyone who made this day possible! Your support and participation made all the difference. We look forward to enriching our communities, spreading the message of health and uplifting more communities through similar initiatives. #sjmc #subangjayamedicalcentre #peoplecaringforpeople #elderly #elderlycare #seniorcare #seniorconnect #superseniorsclub #postevent #eventrecap

On-demand Swedish real-world data: How can this help chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients worldwide? Stay tuned for a sneak peek into our data coming later today! Swedish register data is an invaluable resource for understanding chronic kidney disease (CKD), understanding the additional cardiovascular disease and other comorbid disease risks that comes with CKD. The longitudinal nature of the Swedish registers, including information about hospital diagnoses, kidney status, interventions and other disease diagnoses enables analysis of patient cohorts to identify patterns and risk factors for decline over time. Let's identify treatable patients early, to be proactive in care, mitigating risks and improving patient outcomes. The unique data in Sweden can help inform understanding of CKD worldwide for improved outcomes. #chronickidneydisease #worldkidneyday #realworlddata #realworldevidence #patientcare #patientcenteredcare
This @WorldKidneyDay we stand with the kidney disease community in highlighting the need for equitable access to care. With our commitment to ‘Health for All, Hunger for None’, this is something particularly close to our hearts. A vital element in ensuring Kidney Health for All is reaching the millions of people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD) unaware of their declining kidney function and growing risk of associated cardiovascular events. It is this reason; at Bayer we continue to invest in education for both high-risk patients and the medical community. Hear more from Dr Markus Scheerer, Vice President CKD, Global Medical Affairs, who shares his expert thoughts on how we can achieve Kidney Health for All. #KidneyHealthForAll #WorldKidneyDay

The pressure to not let your team down. The fear of appearing weak. Bad information from friends or the internet. Thinking that it's "not that serious." These are just some of the reasons why over half of people who experience a concussion don't get it checked out. We can reverse this trend—and that starts with all of us working together to understand concussion symptoms and encouraging our friends and family to get our melons checked if things don't feel right. In our latest blog, we chat with Christopher Chao, MD, the current president of the College of Urgent Care Medicine and Urgent Care doctor with WakeMed Health & Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Chao outlines why it's so important for urgent care clinicians and staff to take concussions seriously, and how they can get their patients to do the same: https://bit.ly/43z6TOh

📣We've got a new website and expanded call center hours! A transparent and educational healthcare experience where patients are validated at every step is the better way we believe in at PRM. Impacting 15% of women and 10% of men, pelvic pain is a disease process that is often misdiagnosed, undertreated, and ignored. Patients are left silenced. There is a better way to provide the quality of life these patients deserve. With a new website focused on transparency and education in healthcare and pelvic pain never seen, PRM is proud to show patients that the better way is here. At PRM, the mission is simple: the team believes that the millions of women and men who suffer from pelvic pain should have access to care that provides relief. They don’t believe “a glass of wine will fix it” or that “it’s all in your head”. Patients demanded a better way, PRM’s founders demanded a better way, a better way to treat pelvic pain is why PRM exists. “We are proud to provide patients with extended evening and weekend communication center support to allow them to avoid emergency room visits and to see our pelvic pain specialists.”— Gautam Shrikhande 🗞️ Read the full article --> https://bit.ly/473kCg9 💜 Give us a call or request an appointment online for a consult - lets change what going to the doctor is like. Let's talk about it. Check the link in our bio to learn more.
