These competitive swimmers, who are racing to be qualified for the Paris Olympics, are a true testament of excellence! Competitive swimming is one of the sports that... To be excellent, you have to practice the same stroke 1000 times over! Such grit, determination, and playing the long game. I have a daughter who is a competitive swimmer, and trust me when I say: Times can be tough where she is heavily challenged, near the cusp of quitting, especially when all her hard work doesn't show immediate results. In our fast paced world, where everything comes at lightning speed, including our immediate need for gratification and expectations for success... These swimmers are great reminder for me to be focused, be consistent, have grit, determination, and play the long game.
