I never knew that dreams could come true at #play14 Luxembourgh. Now you are probably curious what it is that I dreamt about... 😁 Well, as you might know, I created an energizer deck together with The Serious Gamers, containing 42 energizers. Jordann Gross and Eddy Bruin collected the energizers and created the step-by-step description for one side of the cards. I drew an image of the energizer on the other side. Some of the energizers I already knew. Some of them I learned during the serious game lab, or energizer sessions organized by the serious gamers. But quite some I had never experienced. The drawing for those emerged when I was reading the step-by-step description and fantasizing on how that would look like real time. And I have to say that during that fantasizing, some energizers made me dream about experiencing them real time. One that made me really curious was this one: Corridor of trust. The energizer is simple: people form two lines with arms stretched and touching each other. Then one by one, participants are asked to run through the corridor of people. While they run, the people will raise their arms last minute. All you have to do is to trust the people to raise their arms. Would I dare to run fast or would I hold back?... this is what I fantasized. And I can tell you now from experience at #play14 that the first run was a challenge. I held back. But the second run I was encouraged to give it my all, so I ran as fast as I could with all the trust that the arms would open for me in time. They did!!
