Experience, genuine work ethic, loyalty and motivation… I would say that’s pretty tough to find in The UK these days, tell me i’m wrong? We’re finding it in ABUNDANCE overseas, in my experience Filipino people just execute and deliver, no moaning, they just do what they need to do to get the job done and they’re grateful to be earning a good living and learning from new experiences. South African people are hustlers too, they get shit done! They’re smart operators, they’re confident, direct and get stuck in and again, actually want to work hard in return for fair pay and good treatment from an employer. Don’t get me wrong here I know you can find superstar grafters in the UK, I just think that’s pretty few and far between and often they’re tough to attract, retain, keep motivated, etc etc and then when you consider cost per employee things get really interesting again. You can hire EXPERIENCED PEOPLE (3 years + exp for £1500-£2000 pcm ALL IN from Untapped locations and you can keep it flexible - double the productivity for half the price and that’s true across Tech (Devs/Engineers) Marketing, Design, Recruitment / HR, Sales, Admin/Support, Finance and the list goes on! 🐸☕️

I won’t make you read this whole post to get the answer: It’s money and support It seems obvious, however I often find that clients are stuck in this revolving door of recruiting the same role every 2 months. The market is competitive for contact centre reps, especially those that excel in the pace of a high volume business. The reality is, 90% of contact centre positions are exactly the same. Regardless of how good your culture is, if your competitor can offer more money and better support - your staff will leave. If you want to avoid the financial and administrative nightmare of recruiting the same role constantly - pay your team above market rate and provide regular 1 on 1 catch ups. These are the two desires that come up in every interview I do, to be paid fairly and treated like more than a number by their boss!
