Many of you were our earliest supporters when Michelle and I decided to launch our #StartupJourney. Building SMMT in a small, supportive town like Park City has also been a great reminder: nothing meaningful is built alone. From LinkedIn to local to our earliest social & email followers, our community has been incredibly supportive in sharing our brand with friends, investing time and energy in feedback, and supporting us with a line of encouragement in the highs and lows.
There are very few, if any, #GrowthHacks at an early stage. Great product & putting community at the center of SMMT is our most important and long-term #BrandBuilding strategy. Connecting first and rewarding those that spread the word, tested our earliest products and have simply just dropped us a note of encouragement on email or social (or here) is the only way we see building a brand of meaning and sustainability.
Although we have some pretty fun pending IP around our tumbler, the Sèrpa (après backwards) at its core was designed around bringing people together. A shared ‘glass’ is one the most fundamental elements of community. When it’s a SMMT tumbler, we want you to know and have access first.
Every year we launch a new version of our Sèrpa Tumbler in Winter White. A celebration of snowfall, our favorite activities ⛷️⛸️🛷 and a season of gathering. In our first year, it was our most popular and fastest selling color. Next week we will exclusively pre-launch Volume 02 for our community, as well as reveal a lot more in the coming days.
❄️ If you haven’t already, we would love for you to join our newsletter for exclusive early access to winter white, all of our small production releases, or simply as the best place to drop us a line and say hello: https://lnkd.in/gVjUWuEX
(With several of our most popular core colors sold out this holiday, this is also where to get re-stock updates)
📣 If you have a moment, we would be grateful for you to share SMMT & our upcoming launch with your connections. A like or repost is a powerful but free way to share our community and its benefits with others.

2moAll I want in (my professional) life is to partner with Altra Running on our trail events in Tanzania. If I invite Cooldown to join does that get us any closer? The post-run drinks will be on me.
