𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞? 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 - 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡 Isn't it time that the lab-grown and earth-mined diamond categories worked together to raise consumer desire for beautiful jewelry as an industry and compete with others who have taken our share of the business? Beautiful jewels have captured the precious moments in people's lives forever, and with the choices now available, the consumer market size will only grow. The combination of two categories allows the expansion of the market multifold as the product becomes more accessible. We need to protect and grow the overall industry by curating and crafting jewels for each category and presenting them to the consumer. They will ultimately make a choice that aligns with their social, economic, environmental, and geographic preferences. Let's build the future of fine jewelry and a large market share of gifting and adornment. How would you like to do that. What would be your plan. How do you stop the hate by the retailers. Also Rapport and others like him. It's fact that lab is greener then a mine diamond. But can't put that out there. For it would kill the mine business. I agree the industry needs to work together. Times have changed. Look forward to see how you would structure a plan. What all the lab organizations have been a failure.

1st of all, all the Lab grown diamond provider should maintain the fair pricing and should not lower the price below certain discount on rap price which make healthy competition in market on price basis and let the buyer decide where they want to buy from rather then keep lowering the price to sell their items ruining the market for everyone in industry

Good point! It's about time we stop discrimination between Natural n LGD until n unless we accept this as a whole in GnJ industry and give them trust of good returns/buy back security..only then will the consumers accept this.

Yes. Fake Rolex is made of the same materials as a real Rolex. I think Rolex should also work together with fake Rolex manufacturers . Fake Rolex is most probably Greener...........

The acrimonious behavior between the mined diamond producers and the lab grown producers HAS TO END. Such hate and negativity doesn't build anything. It only destroys and it harms the entire diamond community of producers, retailers, and suppliers. And if Martin Rappaport insists on boycotting lab grown goods, then the lab grown diamond community needs its own price sheet, and most importantly, they need to adhere to it. The price undercutting between the lab grown diamond distributors is also harmful. It equates to cannibalism.

What a ridiculous debate, especially in the face of inflation and current market dynamics, there is a clear opportunity for both lab-grown and mined diamonds to coexist. As next gen consumers prioritize economic and environmental considerations, working together allows the jewelry industry to thrive. Embracing both is crucial for sustained growth. Why not unite and give customers beautiful, meaningful jewelry, regardless of its origin? Put ego aside and remember why we do what we do.

This wasn’t suggested when LG first came to the market because the margin was astronomically great, now when time came and barely making few bucks becomes a good idea to work together. They’re not suitable for each other, not a good idea.
