I am glad this was done but the Government should have reacted much sooner to show solidarity with the western Countries.

1moOn the one hand we applaude the government when they throw a protective blanket around our industry but let’s remember this is another example of rising prices and inflation. I think a blanket tariff does nothing but breed inefficiency in our own manufacturing sector. With the skyrocketing cost of freight from Asia these days the need for tariffs need to be reconsidered.
