Textiles Are in Our DNA: Elevating Education in Sizing and Fitting   At Albstadt-Sigmaringen University, our Textile Engineering Department lives and breathes innovation because Textiles Are in Our DNA. We are dedicated to providing students with advanced industry standard tools to master the art and science of garment fitting and product development. That's why we proudly use the ALVANON physical and virtual Alvaforms in our courses, from garment construction, Pattern making and 3D Visualization for a completely holistic teaching approach for our Batchelor and master courses. Our Physical Alvanon Alvaforms, known for their anatomically accurate and realistic design and measurements, offer students invaluable hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of how garments fit and move, preparing them to address real-world challenges in apparel and textile engineering. Therefore weh ave multiple male, female and children sizes available in our laboratories Alongside the physical Alvaforms, we are able to integrate the virtual Alvaform into our digital 3D workflows,This allows our students to simulate and perfect garment fits and fabric performance entirely in the virtual space - blending physical precision with digital accuracy. It’s a perfect reflection of our department's ethos: bringing the physical and digital worlds together to shape the future of textiles.
