Why are we building Alvys? Carriers are the most important node in freight - a massive industry with nearly a $1T in annual revenue in the US alone - and they've been overlooked! Most TMS products are focused on the shipper or broker, but carriers have more complex workflows. There are nearly 500,000 for-hire carriers in the US and they lack basic operational tools. Alvys is changing this.
What kinda limitations are these carriers running into with their duct-taped-together homebrew solutions? I don't know anything about this space other than having a growing curiosity in it after we went through the supply chain snags of the immediate post-covid years.
