When I was contemplating starting HiveSchool, there were multiple layers of brainstorming in finalizing what we should build. 🤔 We pivoted through various plans and eventually decided to launch a Sales School. 📈 Now, here's an interesting observation. When I pitched the idea of a Sales School to users, recruiters, and VCs, I noticed a sheer interest. I could sense and decode a clear gap - an absolute need for a Sales School in 2023. 💡 As a founder, I feel the strongest conviction today. With the existing saturation in the Edtech space, we know we're solving something that isn't substantially tapped in the current Higher-Ed Landscape. We understand the potential scalability of this idea if executed well. 💪 Here we are, embarking on our journey to build 'India's First Sales School'! 🚀

Here is an example of me doing sales. Few pinpoints: 1) sales have to be fun. 2) the team behind you might not be so excited as you are. 3) you need to have a small downhill to get up to speed to climb the hill. Still, nothing better than sales✌️

Intrinsic Motivation: A key variable separating the "Good" from the "Great." Important questions when evaluating motivation for yourself or employees: 1️⃣ What is your "WHY?" Or, said differently, passion. 2️⃣ How do you strategically position your journey to align with your "WHY?" It's rare to find people who truly LOVE what they do to the extent that if they weren't paid, they'd still do it. Incredible! Hats off to Jeffrey Winters, John Schwepker, and everyone who contributed to this amazing feat. It’s cool to think about how Abstrakt Marketing Group’s entire A-Player team could have played a part in tipping the scale in our favor to get a new partner to sign… - Was it was the beautifully designed pitch deck from Abstrakt’s collateral team? - A new polished testimonial video in one of our core niches recently shot & edited by our creative team? - Maybe one of our SalesForce experts recently created the perfect prospect list to help reach KDMs in a new market that just opened up? - Perhaps the last best practices meeting we ran gave the confidence to the Sales Rep to handle some tricky rebuttals in the final pitch meeting with the prospect? These are the kinds of activities I think Scott Scully would agree keep allowing Abstrakt to grow year after year, but also month after month. We truly are a powered-by-people organization, which happens to be our new mantra for 2024. I’m excited to see us continue to break records this year and create growth for our team, but also our partners’ companies. My team recently shared what they look for in a sales leader at Truv.
