Could your bank be your new travel agent? 🌴 Lately, I've noticed fintech firms adding services to cover every aspect of the holiday process. Most prominently Revolut became the first financial firm in the UK to launch an eSIM in February. Users can get cost-effective data plans for wherever they're roaming directly from the bank's app. That adds to Revolut's existing travel offerings like its Stays accommodation booking feature, as well as the fact that Premium and Metal customers can purchase lounge access at 1,000+ airports. Meanwhile Brazil's Nubank partnered with Wise this month to launch a new global account for holding different currencies. This product also comes with an eSIM and free data for customers to use while abroad. With roaming, booking and converting cash all taken care of by your bank, what could be next? In-app holiday planners? Automatic visa applications? Let me know where you think fintech will take this trend next in the comments below, and please tag any companies you think are doing interesting work in this space. #TravelMoney #FinTech #Neobanks

Great insights, Alys. I also believe that travel insurance has significant potential in that context.
