At a recent Enterprise Vision Awards event I was speaking to one of of the other finalists, a solicitor who specialises in domestic abuse and sexual assault cases. I wasn't as shocked to learn of the rise in domestic abuse when teams lose, as I was to learn that the number also significantly rises when they win as well. Quite rightly the solicitor pointed out that the reasons for the domestic abuse lie with abuser and an excuse of football is just that, an excuse, so no matter the outcome for the team, the rise is significant.

I’m very aware of this being the case. I often worry when we don’t win and things so wrong! It really in a National Concern!! 🙁
