As an American expat living in Mexico, I'm constantly being asked the easiest ways to move overseas. My answer? Make sure you are able to work online, preferrably with your own business. And if you have your own business, there are some things you definitely want to make sure you have in place to make moving overseas easier. Because I can tell you from experience - moving to another country is CHAOTIC, so you want to make sure your work and business have as little chaos as possible. In this video, I explain how to do that: https://lnkd.in/eK-aYTFx

Helping B2B Businesses Build Trust and Get More Clients | Web Designer | 10+ Years of Experience | Marketer Turned Designer | Funnels & Conversion Expert 🚀
I cannot believe my friends are still alive. Every time one of them tells me about their visit to Latin America, I am amazed that they made it. Take Elo, for instance. At 18, she hitchhiked through Latin America with another female friend, spoke only basic Spanish, and ventured alone. And then there's Ophelia, who booked a hostel in Mexico City's most dangerous neighborhood without researching the area. I wouldn't do either of these things even now—and I'm an almost 40-year-old male! Mexico isn't dangerous unless you do risky things. While hitchhiking and booking hostels without researching the area might be expected in some countries, they can be dangerous in Mexico. Thankfully, both Elo and Ophelia are fine. Nothing happened to them. Business is no different. A guide can help us avoid mistakes and safeguard our companies. When we do things ourselves, they might work out, but we must ask ourselves if the risk is worth it. Whether it's a mentor or a consultant, we all need a guide. Your business deserves the best chance at success. Don't leave your web presence to chance. Do you need a website that stands out and delivers? Let's talk.

A golden tip I can give you about conducting your business in Canada And this forms the basis for adapting to a new culture and business etiquette. 🌟𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🌟 - Canadians tend to be quite polite in their initial interactions. - Use titles and last names unless invited to use first names. - Arriving at meetings is a prerogative. - They value time and punctuality. - Work-life balance is important to them. - They respect personal time outside of office. - Communicate directly but politely. - Eye-contact is imperative but not overly intense. - Meetings are always structured and to the point. - They follow an agenda and you should too. - Any written communication is professionally written. - Always follow proper grammar and a polite tone. - They value prompt responses. - Be sure to respond to emails within 24 hours. - If you cannot give an answer, acknowledge the mail. I have learned the nuances of the Canadian business culture, By exploring things and asking questions. But if you are someone who is just starting out, I hope these tips help you in communicating well. What other points would you like to add to these? Is there anything else new business-owners must keep in mind? ************ ♻️ Repost if you found this useful. ✅ Stay tuned for more posts where I peel the onion around my journey as an entrepreneur and shed more insights about the startup visa program, business ecosystem, and the cultural nuances. 📌 Follow Abhijitt Sankar Roy 🇨🇦 for more.
