Amanda Cruise’s Post

Last week I was working through an offer on a mobile home community. The price they wanted sort of made sense if the homes were in good shape, so I really wanted to go see the community in person. There was one problem: The only day that made sense was Thursday, which is typically my "mommy day" where I don't work and hang out with my 4 year old son. I didn't want to make him just drive over there and back. That would have taken 5+ hours and been super boring for him. So instead we invited my mom, stopped by the community for a bit, then drove an hour past that to the beach for the night 🏖 It was really fun and a great time hanging with just the 3 of us. The community is unlikely to work out for us to purchase, so essentially I got zero work done for 2 days and that's totally fine with me. With little kids and a growing business, many days tend to be this sort of blend of family and business (though not always including the beach 🤣 ). The blend certainly has challenges, but there's always more work that can be done. In just 15 months he'll be in kindergarten and I won't be able to just take him to the beach for a night. So I'll keep soaking up the time while I have it! #smallbusinessowner #womeninrealestate #mobilehomeparks #realestate #investing
