Exciting weekend at the Ultra Music Festival ! While our video showcases the festival's vibrant atmosphere, it doesn't capture the two overdose incidents swiftly addressed and safely administered thanks to our distribution of Naloxone - NARCAN® Nasal Spray Canada. I’ve been an advisor to PulseJet for a while now and it’s been a blast. They have a clear vision for bringing music into #spatial/#vr/#immersive spaces and we’ve been working to get the word out (aka: #marketing). The first release is now up available on #oculus. We’re in early stages, but the marketing strategy is driven by the #Challenger mandates (thank you Julian Aldridge Aldridge for always pushing that idea into my brain). In particular, the concept of embracing your constraints. Each time I spoke with the three founders, I’d hear their frustration: they had no real way to *show* people the powerful, immersive experiences they were creating. We are going to do an in-person plan, but that’s hard to scale. That’s why we landed on a single-word strategic platform: #Indescribable. We simply can’t put the experience into words or images-on-a-screen. You can only experience it. The creative seed here is the beginning. We will focus ads not on the experience itself, but people’s *reaction* to it. Watch here and PulseJet for more. They are onto a good thing and VR is one of those huge bets the biggest names have made and content is the key to unlock growth.

Grant opportunity: Revive Live Open 05/08/24; Closes 23/08/24; up to $200,000; National The program will provide essential support to established live music venues and music festivals to assist them to continue to operate in the current operating climate, limiting venue closures and event cancellations, and stimulating long-term sustainability. It will also focus on activities that improve accessibility and provide participation opportunities for audiences, and career pathways for musicians and music workers, with disability. There are different streams. Within the total available funding, $1.2 million will be available for applications that specifically address activities to improve accessibility at established live music venues or established music festivals. To be eligible for funding, applicants must have an ABN, be registered for GST, and be one of the following entity types: -a company incorporated in Australia -a company incorporated by guarantee -a sole trader with employees -an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust -an incorporated association -a partnership -an incorporated not-for-profit organisation -an Australian local government body -an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 There is a very short application period for this grant. Our learners participate in presentations and debates, and by studying the ways in which talented individuals communicate their ideas. Our learners do the same with the written word. At Dreamtime we are determined to produce confident, composed and coherent communicators who can explore, express and explain their views orally and in writing. They will also be receptive and learn from the views of others. So the Dreamtime newsletter is a wonderful way for our learners to publish their ideas to a wider audience.
