ℹ️Thinking capacity 🧠 is the ability of an individual to engage in thought processes. It is a measure of intelligence and can be described as the capability to reason and analyze information, problem-solve, create new ideas, plan, organize and make decisions. 🆘How can I improve my thinking capacity❓ Any mentally stimulating activity should help to build up your brain. Read, take courses, try "mental gymnastics," such as word puzzles or math problems Experiment with things that require manual dexterity as well as mental effort, such as drawing, painting, and other crafts. #fitness #bosnia #body #gym #fitness4life #gymlife #healthy #fit #strong #workouts #education #fitnessmotivation #fitnesslife #fitnessjourney #workoutmotivation #enjoy #coach #nutrition #motivation #healthylifestyle #training #instagram #sarajevo #motivator #breathe #gymtime #personaltraining #bodymindsculptor

Gymnastics work is often harder than load based movements for a lot of people, in my experience. Very few men and women can do an unassisted dip or pull-up. Virtually none can do handstand push-ups, muscle-ups, levers, etc. In the pursuit of strength, look to different ways to get strong. Not only will you get stronger overall, but you overall fitness will improve. #gymnastics #fitness #gym #gymnast #crossfit #workout #motivation #training #fitnessmotivation #calisthenics #gymlife #gymmotivation #fit #yoga #handstand #tumbling #strength #bodybuilding #fitfam #gymtime #dance #cheer #cheerleading #fitnessmodel #love #parkour #flip #flips #flexibility #dancer

Parallel bar walking is a gymnastic and strength training exercise where you move along a set of parallel bars by placing your hands on one bar and your feet on the other. It requires balance, coordination, and upper body strength. It's commonly seen in gymnastics and calisthenics routines and is a challenging way to improve your overall fitness.Certainly! Parallel bar walking typically involves the following steps: 1. Find a set of parallel bars: You can usually find parallel bars at a gymnastics facility, calisthenics park, or even at some outdoor fitness stations. 2. Warm up: Like any exercise, it's important to warm up your muscles to prevent injury. Perform some light stretching and mobility exercises. 3. Start with the basics: Begin by simply holding onto the bars and getting comfortable with the balance and grip. You can also practice basic swinging movements to get used to the motion. 4. Gradually increase difficulty: Once you're comfortable, try walking along the bars by shifting your weight from one hand to the other while moving your feet. It's important to maintain good core stability and balance. 5. Practice variations: As you become more proficient, you can incorporate various moves like dips, L-sits, or even attempting to turn around on the bars. 6. Safety precautions: Make sure the bars are stable and suitable for your weight. Use mats or spotters when needed, especially when you're learning. Parallel bar walking is not only a great exercise for building upper body and core strength but also a fun and challenging way to improve your coordination and balance. #nayanphysiotherapist #guwahatiphysiotherapist #homevisits

If your goal is to do an L-sit or simply build a bulletproof core, this exercise is for you. Leg compressions are a star exercise of gymnastics training, along with the hollow body position. As the name suggests, the goal is to build enough strength to compress the body and usually hold this compressed position. This type of core training will carry over your daily life activities, contact sports, yoga, or gymnastics moves like L-sits, straddle sits, and all kinds of leg raises. ☝🏼 Don’t get fooled by how easy it seems though. While it may look like it’s coming straight from your grandmother’s rehab routine, it is actually hard! In fact, it is in my top 3 exercises that are much harder than they look. If this variation is too difficult for you, no problem, try it with one leg instead and alternate. 👇🏼 Full instructions in the comments. ♻️ Repost and help your network learn more too. ~~~ Follow me for everything about home gyms and training. Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Empowering people young and old with the power that is their health.
Last term at Kids Heart Pilates we worked on some gross manipulative skills with ball play. I took tennis balls, bumpy balls, light balls, heavy pilates balls, AFL balls, soccer balls and we explored some concepts through asking questions. Here are some questions I asked: What is different about these balls? Are they different colours? Are they different sizes? Do they feel different? Is this tennis ball smooth or fuzzy? Are some of them heavy? Which balls bounce? It was a perfect introduction and exploration of the sensory system and language systems while getting ready for motor skills and planning.

Paid pharmacy consulting is long overdue. I feel the greatest resistance to people accepting paid pharmacy consulting is a result of how pharmacy has evolved. Been in pharmacy nearly 50 years. When I started pharmacists dispensed a drug product along with little or no drug information. That little bit of drug information was given for free. Pharmacists providing drug information often was actually discouraged based on the assumption the prescribers did that. Discussing drug products with multiple indications was especially a concern. While pharmacists still dispense drugs, just as important is the drug information being provided. With so many new and complex therapies, the need for that information is greater than ever. However charging for what was given for free is a hard pill to swallow (pun intended) even though given the scope of drug knowledge today it is totally justified and necessary.

Training with gymnastic rings If you want to get an extra boost in your strength training, try gymnastic rings. Lately, I've been doing ring exercises once or twice a week to have some variety in my gym routine. In this video, I do push-ups with my feet on a platform. This is surprisingly challenging, since the rings are unstable, so the small muscles of the shoulder have to work hard. Also, elevated feet make this a bit harder than a normal push-up position. As an additional bonus, you get a good upper body pump on top of the deal. Try this and comment on how these feel. And as always, scale the movement according to your fitness level. #gymnastics #crossfit #masterathlete #fitover50 #fitaf #strengthtraining
