Prime membership means nothing when a complaint is involved. Yet again I’ve wasted over an hour of my life with three idiots on your customer service chat line and achieved nothing. This, on top of a dialogue with one of your retailers for over three weeks now and got nowhere. After asking Amazon to interject and do the right thing by processing a refund I have got nowhere. I am now over £150 out of pocket for a defective item which I returned in good faith on the promise of a replacement. I have wasted a considerable amount of my time which I may add hourly equates financially well above the value of the product, and as a result of my efforts have neither a replacement product nor refund. How exactly is this service. To me it’s theft! Do Amazon think they are so big and untouchable that they think the very people who put them there in the first place are irrelevant now? Do Bezos and his employees have not conscience irrespective of the fact that in this matter they are criminals for breaching trading standard and distance selling regulations? Is there not a single individual within Amazon who is capable of taking unscripted ownership of a complaint & escalating this to the UK executive office for them to contact me to resolve??
