🌟CELEBRATING THE SMALL WINS AND MILESTONES🏆 Witnessing a breakthrough moment with a client in therapy is one of the most rewarding experiences one can have. I'm beaming with happiness and gratitude now as I reflect on a recent session where we accomplished that. Moments like these serve as a constant reminder of the reason I became a therapist in the first place: to support people as they face challenges, achieve successes, and undergo transformations. Witnessing a client overcome challenges, gain understanding, or undergo a change in perspective not only demonstrates their perseverance, but also validates the efficacy of therapy and therapuetic relationships. No matter how small they may seem, celebrate these small victories! These celebrations will serve as a reminder of the influence we can have on one another’s lives when we provide encouragement, understanding, and a secure environment for learning. To all my fellow therapists and mental health professionals, let us continue to celebrate these times that foster growth and resiliency. One breakthrough at a time, we are making a difference together 🌱🤞🏻 #therapists #therapistlife #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #gratitude

This Week in Therapy 💬 ————— Inspired by @lorigottlieb_author and her therapy posts, here is an intimate moment in my therapy room. The important takeaway: ➡️ Don’t lose yourself to fit someone else’s narrative. We live in a world that wants us to fit in and please everybody, but we’re worthy of love and acceptance, just as we are. As Brene Brown once put it, to be authentic, we must cultivate the courage to be imperfect. 👌🏼 So, even when it’s hard, show up for yourself! 🫵🏼 Hopefully, by sharing some unfiltered words in therapy, it reminds people that they’re not alone in their challenges. Maybe we can all learn a thing or two. Maybe it’s just food for thought. 💭 Your supportive therapist, - Montana Follow 👉🏼 @poweryourthoughts_ for more mental health content, tips, and support. 👋🏼 Disclaimer: this content is for entertainment and education purposes, and does not replace professional help. . . . . #friday #staytrue #selflove #selfreminder #authenticity #differentisbeautiful #youmatter #supportyourfriends #mindset #mindsetiseverything #mindovermatter #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthsupport #therapistthoughts #privatepractice #therapy #foryourpage

During 2024 Mental Health Week, themed "A Call to Be Kind," we pause to reflect on the essence of compassion within our organization. Compassion isn't merely a word in our dictionary, it is the heartbeat of everything we do. At BoardWalk Group, our team is united by compassion and a shared passion to make meaningful differences in everyday lives. We are here because we believe in the power of empathy and action to create positive change. We partner with compassionate organizations that don’t just listen to the struggles their clients experience, but also roll up their sleeves and take meaningful steps to alleviate the challenges others face. As we navigate the complexities of societal health and well-being, we invite you to join us in turning empathy into action. Together, let's transform lives through the powerful force of compassion. Want to learn more about how you can create positive change with compassion? What do people say after they experience Brainspotting? Let's hear it from Beatrice: “When we say trauma we often believe it is a one-time big-time event, but it isn’t. Trauma can be accumulated over time. Through brainspotting we are able to reach the parts of our brain that we are unconsciously affected from. This enables individuals to process trauma. It promotes us listen to others attentively, without question and with no judgement. There is no phases and processes in brainspotting, listening is what is crucial. These ideas are open to anyone. We can even administer BSP without having a mental illness. Everyone can experience suppressed emotions. Everyone has a right to be seen, heard, and recognized.” We are inviting you to join our Batch 8 Brainspotting Phase 1 Training on May 17, 19, 24 and 26 (Fridays and Sundays)! It is not only for mental health advocates or professionals but for everyone who is looking for a safe space to heal in natural ways and improve their health holistically - mind, body and soul. Therapy? Let's Rewrite the Narrative 🤔 Have you faced stigma or awkwardness when you've told someone you go to therapy? Received judgment or scepticism? Sharing this part of your journey can be met with misconceptions, but it's an opportunity to educate and inspire understanding❤️ So - it's time to change that narrative 🌟 It's not just a reactive measure - it's a proactive investment in your mental well-being 🚀 It’s a journey of understanding your mind, optimising your potential, facilitating personal growth 💪 It’s an indication of strength, and your commitment to a thriving, fulfilled life 🌈 Embarking on this path is a testament to your self-awareness, a step towards breaking barriers that hold you back 🔄 So let's shift the narrative - encourage and celebrate seeking help, rather than stigmatize it #BreakTheStigma #TherapyJourney #MentalWellness #Wellbeing #Therapy #MentalHealth #SelfCare
