GRADUATING. YOUR. NEW. HIRES. No one achieves mastery in #onboarding and a graduation signifies that they're prepared to walk their new world alone... Want a culture of #continuouslearning? Then they can't graduate. It's contradicting the bigger strategy. Instead, get creative with celebrating a milestone achievement. At Magnet Medical, we award them with a Call Sign (yes, just like TOPGUN) on the first day of their first contract. It's a right of passage as a #sales employee and it's a big deal. They still have so much to learn, but they're officially generating revenue for the company now. Find a way to celebrate milestones instead of handing them a certificate of days completed on the job. #foodforthought #everboarding #salesenablement #newhires

So true. If an onboarding plan is 90 days, how can you actually expect someone to be fully ready for everything that could come up in a year, in just 90 days? 90 days is a foundation to support them in getting through the unexpected over the year.
