That's a wrap! Epic UGM was filled with advancements in generative #AI to ease provider and nurse documentation burden, summarize charts, and remove administrative burden! They also shared using a nationwide network of data #cosmos for creating predictive analytics for benchmarking like predictive LOS, to finding lookalike patients for advancement in care based on the largest patient dataset there is available (270 million patient records). THIS is an inflection point in medicine and I'm excited to see where we go from here! Proud to have had the opportunity to represent John Muir Health at #UGM this year with Priti Patel and UPMC Michael Curren Katie Ahrensfield, MBA, BSN-RN on our findings using Ambient AI for over a year - hard & soft ROI data showing: - Perceived time savings of 2 hours per day - Actual time savings of 34 Mins per day in time in notes and patient instructions based on user action logs - Increased FaceTime with patients (appointment time minus time spent on the computer) - Decreased physician turnover & burnout - Unsolicited increase in appointment volumes - Increased coding complexity & RVUs - Increased physician alignment for those using ambient AI vs those who aren't (press ganey) Thank you to those who attended and hope you are able to find the data and resources you need to get your hands on #ambient AI!
