MAG (Airports Group) has announced partners for its latest Airfield Infrastructure Framework ✈️ The Framework will support our three airports, Manchester Airport, London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport, in delivering our airfield development programmes as we continue to invest in our airport infrastructures. Key projects covered in the Framework will include airfield improvement works, as well as runway resurfacing, aircraft stand development, and airfield ground lighting systems. THIEF RIVER FALLS REGIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY’s new air cargo hangar is improving operations for its largest cargo operator. Built to address challenges like limited indoor space for maintenance and loading, especially during Minnesota winters, the hangar enhances efficiency while showcasing sustainability with air handling energy recovery system and precast concrete panels reflecting the region’s character.   A huge thank you to Airport Manager Joe Hedrick for his vision and to the entire SEH team, including Colin Anderson and Ariel Christenson, for their contributions. Charlotte Douglas International has recently announced that it has officially commissioned its North End Around Taxiway, which will enhance connectivity between the North Carolina airport's west runway and terminal ramp. The taxiway minimizes aircraft crossings on Runway 18C/36C and provides additional queuing space for arriving flights, streamlining traffic flow on the central runway. “The completion of the North End Around Taxiway is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance the safety, efficiency, and capacity of our airfield,” said CLT Chief Infrastructure Officer Jack Christine, A.A.E. #Aviationnews

This prestigious project, awarded by The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey last week, marks a significant milestone in the ongoing redevelopment of one of the nation's busiest airports. The new AirTrain system will replace the existing, outdated system with a state-of-the-art, 2.5-mile elevated rail structure and three new stations. This project is a critical component of the Port Authority's vision to transform Newark Liberty International Airport into a world-class transportation hub. Working within the Tutor Perini Corporation/ O&G Industries, Inc.
