Happy International Women’s Day! As we wrap up our week of stories and insights from women and allies across #TeamLigentia, we’re catching up with Group CEO Daniel Gill to get his thoughts on inspiring inclusion. "I'm acutely aware of the pivotal role talent development and fostering a diverse culture play in our company's success. I firmly believe that our greatest achievements are realised when diverse teams collaborate harmoniously. "Inspiring inclusion isn't just about words, it's about tangible actions and leading by example. Recently, a colleague wisely told me to 'measure what matters', and what matters is championing diversity and inclusion. While intentions and plans are crucial, it's actions that truly instil belief. That's why I'm committed to ensuring that what we do aligns with our words and exceeds our promises. "At our core, we're advocates for a culture of open communication. It's imperative that everyone within our organisation understands the profound impact of embracing and championing diversity. Not only does this foster a stronger sense of community among our colleagues, but it also creates a better business environment for both our team and our customers." #InspireInclusion #IWD2024

March 8th is International Women’s Day (IWD) – a global day recognized by the United Nations that celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The theme of #iwd2024 is #inspireinclusion. How do I see it done in my workplace? 1. Celebrate the Achievements of Women 🙌 I am more than often inspired by the women in my personal and professional lives. Not only by the talent and hard work they demonstrated but the possibilities of achievements in life they have shown me, which I would not have thought attainable. This is the power of having women as leaders, allies, and role models, where their success stories are made visible, accessible, and relatable. 2. Provide Equal Opportunities ⚖ Aside from celebrating the achievements of outstanding women, it is also important to translate the recognition into equal opportunities - for equal voice, pay, and promotion, to allow women to lead and contribute more in any arena they choose. It is the positive reinforcements that can inspire and motivate others when there is still a lot more to be done. 3. Embrace a Culture of Inclusivity 💪 Personally, I found it easier to speak up for others than for myself, whether it is to ask for support, recognition, or inclusion. When I do so, my actions are encouraged by my team who have empowered me. I believe it is therefore key to build a culture of empathy around the challenges, where women can rely on each other and allies when they feel the need to speak up and challenge the existing status quo, or overcome barriers in professional growth. I would love to hear your thoughts and the actions you/your organization is taking to support each other and inspire inclusion! #inspireinclusion #iwd2024 #internationalwomensday #inclusionanddiversity #womeninbusiness #lifeataon

“When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.” The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. By championing inclusion, organisations can harness the full potential of diverse perspectives, leading to better decision-making, innovation and creating a more inclusive culture. We are passionate advocates of proactive inclusion and love supporting others to create more inclusive work cultures. Our Dialogue in the Dark half-day workshop, “Dialogue for Inclusion” is specifically designed to do exactly that. In this immersive and practical experience, individual and group activities are conducted in complete darkness. We explore the constructs of inclusion, understand the power of inclusion through G.R.A.C.E™, psychological safety and what is takes to feel a sense of belonging. The dark experience accelerates, amplifies and anchors learning whilst challenging belief systems, resetting boundaries and shining a light on one’s unconscious brain. Many find their voice in the dark. Dialogue for Inclusion provides a powerful and memorable experience. A great way to start the conversation and inspire a more inclusive work culture. #inspireinclusion #iwd2024

The theme of International Women’s Day 2024 is Inspiring Inclusion. But ‘inclusion’ can mean different things to different people. For me, it’s about so much more than ‘having a seat at the table’. I think of inclusion as: - Freedom from fear and anxiety – creating that sense of psychological safety. - Acknowledging, understanding and addressing unconscious bias – both in others and in yourself. - Creating and feeling a sense of belonging. - Understanding different perspectives. Seeking to understand but with permission to challenge. - Developing positive mindsets – and shifting the needle on moving people towards a shared vision of inclusivity. - Engaging with everyone – regardless of who they are, where they are, what they do and what they believe. - And finally, inclusion is about being yourself. And the more we do that, the more we can bring to the table that we should all quite rightfully have a seat at. Inclusion is something we should be focusing on every day. It is certainly something that I hope to ‘walk the talk on’ as I settle in to my new role in and start to forge plans for the future. So let’s all ‘inspire inclusion’ – today and every day! #iwd2024 #inspiringinclusion

Going beyond embracing the differences and uniqueness of our people, we also cultivate our commonalities to engage all of our workforce, shaping #InclusiveFutures for all. Over the past years, we have made substantial progress in improving women's representation — with a 5.8% increase in the workforce and a notable 9.4% rise in executive positions since 2019, advancing towards our #ESG targets. We are going beyond representation to ensure inclusive futures for everyone through flagship programs like dedicated training pathways and mentorship opportunities, enhancing work-life balance through our flexible work policy, and facilitating continuous feedback. In 2023, more than 16,000 colleagues participated in Inclusion Circles, an ongoing initiative that brings our leaders and colleagues together to have open conversations on inclusion to better understand their experiences and prompt meaningful action. On International Women’s Day, we celebrate our colleagues and thank our allies for their constant support. Together with Women@Capgemini, our largest global employee network group, we will continue strengthening our efforts to celebrate women every day of the year, nurturing the #InclusiveFuture we all want! #IWD2024 #4PositiveFutures #InspireInclusion

This International Women's Day, as we embrace the powerful theme of #InspireInclusion, Women represent about 47.7% of the workforce in the broader landscape, yet only about 30% in the manufacturing sector. At EMCS, we stand out, with over 60% of our manufacturing team being women. This was not a result of a targeted agenda but a natural outcome of our unwavering dedication to finding the best talent who embodies our core values of integrity, trust, authenticity, and responsiveness. Our approach to hiring is simple: we seek individuals who bring exceptional skills and knowledge and resonate with our corporate ethos; leading to the formation of a team as diverse and inclusive as it is talented - a testament to what organizations can achieve when prioritizing merit and values over everything else. This year's International Women's Day theme, #InspireInclusion, resonates deeply with what we've witnessed at EMCS. A gender-equal world, free from bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, is not just an ideal. It's a reality we're living and fostering every day. Our team's diversity is our strength and a source of endless inspiration. As we celebrate women's achievements and advocate for gender parity, let's remember that inclusion is about valuing and celebrating differences, driving change together, and making every action count towards forging women's equality. IWD 2024 is a reminder that the quest for inclusion and equality belongs to us all, across every sector, community, and corner of the world. At EMCS, we're proud to be part of this global movement, demonstrating that the best people for the job are simply the best people, period. Here's to continuing to #InspireInclusion, not just today but every day. Happy International Women's Day to everyone, everywhere. We can create a world that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion at every level. #WeGiveAShip #IWD2024 #GenderEquality #DiversityAndInclusion #EMCS

As we approach International Women’s day, I cannot emphasize strongly enough on the importance of embracing diversity in our work places, in our boards and in our supply chains. There is strength in diversity; with it comes divergent views, respect for opinions and ultimately growth. As Andres Tapia said Diversity is the mix. Inclusion is making the mix work. Let’s work on making diversity work! #BuildProgressWithUs #BamburiIWD2024 #IWD2024

#iwd2024 #inspireinclusion 💜 We wish all the amazing women in our network a very Happy International Women’s Day. We consider ourselves to be very fortunate to interact daily with inspiring women across the globe in different industries and value the diversity of thinking and experience. Even now, in 2024 with the many advancements in life and business, there remain gaps and we all have a duty of care to play our role in inspiring inclusion. We are also very proud of our colleagues who bring great knowledge, experience and their individuality to our team. We been chatting about what inspiring inclusion means to them….. “For me, being inclusive as a colleague and inspirational as a leader is about modelling the right behaviours… being transparent, open, and honest about personal struggles, speaking up and owning your actions and contributions. I’m still learning, to seek to understand and to not always jump to resolutions, sometimes your presence is enough”. Rebecca Homer, Principal Consultant. “It means I am being authentic, visibly being proud of who I am and what I believe in, and encouraging others to own their uniqueness. By taking the opportunities to use my voice, share my experience and collectively with others contribute to an inclusive environment all day, every day, everywhere and anywhere.” Trace Durning, Director of New Market Growth & Organisational Culture Specialist. “International Women’s Day is about celebrating all women, embracing their diversity. Change takes collective effort which benefits from a diverse and inclusive approach by design”. Michelle Fulford, Specialist Consultant - Change Management. Today and every day, let's play our role in being inclusive so that everyone has the opportunity to bring their uniqueness for the benefit of all. #dotherightthing #iwd2024 #inspireinclusion #individuality #innovateandimprove #castlefirth 💜

🌟 Celebrating International Women's Day! 🌟 As a woman of colour working at the intersection of education and the creative industries, I'm committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity. 💪📚🎨 In classrooms and boardrooms alike, representation matters. It's not just about opening doors; it's about ensuring that everyone has a seat at the table and a voice in the conversation. ✨ Inclusion isn't just a buzzword; it's a fundamental value that drives innovation, creativity, and success. It's about creating spaces where everyone's voice is heard, respected, and valued—regardless of gender, background, or identity. Let's use today to recognise the strides we've made and recommit ourselves to the work that lies ahead. Together, we can build a world where every woman, regardless of her background, can pursue her passions and achieve her dreams. Let's amplify each other's voices, uplift one another, and work together to create a more equitable and inclusive world for all. 💫 #IWD2024 #Inclusion #Diversity #WomenInEducation #WomenInCreativeIndustries #IWDshoot24 #IWDexpo #InspireInclusion Edwin Ladd Charlene Wall Naomi Spencer Kasim Choudhry IWD Conference & Expo

International Women's Day is a moment to reflect on the transformative power of diversity, inclusion, and the unique perspectives each of us brings to our personal and professional lives. At @constantcontact, we understand that the richest discussions and most innovative solutions come when different voices are not just heard, but valued. It’s why one of our corporate values is “You Belong Here.” Our commitment to building a workplace that champions diversity is unwavering. We believe in the strength that comes from a team composed of different genders, ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and unique qualities. It's this blend of diverse perspectives that drives deeper thought, allows us to support each other, and leads to better results. My advice to every woman navigating her professional workplace is to remember that your uniqueness is your strength. Embrace it, and don’t ever doubt your place or your potential. Your voice matters, your ideas are valuable, and your presence is essential. You don’t just belong in the room – you are a key part of its foundation. On this International Women's Day, let's celebrate our achievements, but continue to push for a workplace where everyone feels like they belong. Let’s commit to supporting one another, recognizing the value of our diverse experiences, and ensuring that every woman knows how truly vital she is to the success of the organization. #OneCTCT #InspireInclusion #IWD2024
