NEW: America’s beverage companies are providing $305,600 to South Tahoe Refuse & Recycling Co. in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., to provide more than 19,000 households with free curbside recycling carts. These carts, along with a robust education campaign, improve recycling convenience and can lead to more valuable materials being collected and remade, rather than wasted in landfills or littered in the environment. This includes our industry’s recyclable plastic bottles and aluminum cans which are #MadetoBeRemade. This project is in partnership with The Recycling Partnership through our #EveryBottleBack initiative. More: https://lnkd.in/eS7yUbef

2moWho can I get in contact with to discuss a potential partnership? I’m putting in the ground work in minority communities on the Southside of Chicago that experience high volumes of littered plastic bottles and I could use some support. I’m an advocate for every bottle back I strongly believe Cook County would benefit from a bottle policy especially in these underserved communities. Can you please provide a point of contact so we can start making an impact and solve this plastic problem. Please & Thank You
