This morning, I finally had the opportunity to read through the May issue of CAP TODAY and was so happy to see Modena Henderson MHA on page 28. She and her team at Beyond Results, LLC are offering a timely service during an era of unprecedented change in the clinical laboratory industry. I have had the opportunity to refer many clients and network contacts for an initial conversation. Every one has been impressed, but the main reason why has been a bit surprising. The most common feedback I get is: "I couldn't put my finger on the reasons why we haven't been doing better until now." Sometimes, it takes an outside perspective, one of experience gained from years of doing the hard work in different health systems, with different teams, with different platforms and infrastructure, with varying starting points and available resources, to understand the greatest opportunities for improvement and then prioritize a practical plan to achieve success.
