What a great week! This past Sunday I have the chance to go live with Live on Fox, (a 24 Hour News program from Fox) and share my message about Military Veteran Dads. I was only on air for 15 minutes, but I did some reflecting earlier in the day and really thought just how long it took to be ready for those 15 minutes. Military Veteran Dad the podcast has over 500 episodes over three years, I do not still publish new episodes, but it is still downloaded near 2000 times a month. I didn't first start out to create a legacy producing assets, but now with two podcasts under my belt, almost 100K downloads in 8 years, my lesson for you is this. What you start today, will produce fruit down the road. One of my favorite coaching questions is, what will you wish you started 6 months from now, today. What things will you be looking to harvest from that you are glad you started. I didn't know how much the podcast would transform my life, but it became a purpose and mission that led me through leaving corporate life, and building my stay-at-home dad and speaking life. No matter where you are in the process make sure you are starting things today, that your future-self will thank you for.
