This is the time that healthcare organizations are discussing 2025 projections as well as end-of-year projections. Wherever you land on said financial projections remember, "The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.” –Sydney Harris Self-care is always a priority to getting the job done. 5-10 minutes can do wonders. Gina A. Ruiz-Brice, RN, BSN, MSN Mr. Harris Wrote "Winners & Losers", a writer from Hubpages recommends to anyone, who is looking [for] some good advice. It is a great book for students, homemakers, and professionals alike. How do you complete the handoff??? If you are involved in the transfer of information between healthcare providers - why not take a few moments and share your experience. Ever wondered how others are doing it? #patientsafety #communication #TOA

Thank you to the #nurses adding their voices to the State of Nurse Handoffs in America survey. We’re building momentum, & still have space to hear others’ #BedsideShiftReport experiences. Voices needed from 8 more states. https://lnkd.in/gJUCZNvS

Healthcare is built on the foundation of relationships. People will always remember how you made them feel. I can still recall everyone who had my back during challenging shifts and who didn't. That was 10 years ago. You remember because feelings are stronger than the memory of the words that were said or the specific actions that followed. And yes, you will go out of your way every. single. time to help the ones that were there for you in the future. Simply because they did the same for you in the past. People in healthcare will remember: 👉 How you helped them. 🤝 How you listened to them. 👐 How you treated them. 🙌 How you showed up for them. 🙏 How you made them feel. When you focus on understanding someone else's experiences, thoughts, and feelings in healthcare, you not only make their lives brighter but also enrich your own at the same time. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.
