Uncovering the "Return on Experience" for our clients energizes me and our commitment to this at The Bridge is part of what differentiates us.
#mywhy for this work, however, leans a bit more philosophical ...
What is the compounding effect of a good experience? What if the design systems we interact with every day not only removed friction but enhanced our lives? These are the questions I will likely spend my career answering and it is one of the many reasons I inhaled Dan Hill's "Dark Matter and Trojan Horses: A Strategic Design Vocabulary."
This text offers a thought-provoking exploration of the relationship between #design, #technology, and #society.
"Dark Matter" refers to the hidden forces at play in design, such as the underlying infrastructure and systems that support digital technologies.
"Trojan Horses" symbolize the unexpected consequences and potential dangers that can arise from seemingly benign design choices.
This system can be applied to everything we do - particularly when there are digital, physical, and cultural considerations at play, which is, you know, basically everything.
Enjoy. 😎
