Heat stroke symptoms include: 🚨 heavy panting and rapid breathing 🚨 excessive drooling 🚨 dry mucous membranes 🚨 bright red gums and tongue 🚨 skin that’s hot to the touch 🚨 elevated heart rate 🚨 hyperactivity 🚨 difficulty maintaining balance If your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, head to your nearest emergency clinic immediately. Here's a quick guide on how to respond if you find yourself in a similar situation: 🔹Stay Calm: Panicking may worsen the situation. 🔹 Initial Action: Assess the situation and symptoms: pain, vomiting, difficulty breathing, etc. 🔹 Unconscious Casualty: Place in the recovery position, check airway and breathing, and perform CPR if needed. 🔹 Identify the Poison: Check for nearby bottles or substances. 🔹 For Corrosive Substances (like bleach): 🔸Do NOT induce vomiting. 🔸Wash mouth and face. 🔸Do not give anything by mouth. 🔸Seek medical aid urgently. From inhaled to absorbed poisons, each type requires a specific response.
